Camps / Coaches

All head coaches for 2008 are fixed and the participants can really look forward to great camps in summer:


alana_blahoski_kl (3K)

Olympic gold medalist Alana Blahoski is head coach in the camp Graz II as well as one of the coaches for Lustenau I. She was already 2007 in Graz and is a specialist for powerskating and women´s hockey. And from 2003-06 she was coach of the U.S. national team (women).


berek (3K)
Coaching legend Miro Berek stays: he will lead the hobby camps in Graz and will help during Graz II. The former DEL coach and up-to-date women´s U18 national team coach likes to teach hockey to young players. Berek was already working for FFH in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 in Graz and Lustenau.


penttihiiros_kl (8K)
Top coach for the camps in Lustenau: Pentti Hiiros from Finland was not only national team player by himself but also managed to be world champion as assistant coach of the Finnisch U18 national team. For 8 years he coached the junior teams of Jokerit and IFK Helsinki - and every year they were ranked among the top 3.




siitarinen (3K)

Jorma Siitarinen, will be the head coach in the first hobby camp in St. Pölten. The former assistant coach of the Austrian female and male national teams returns after 4 years absence to FFH.




ANDRECS_P (7K) The junior camp in St. Pölten (17.-23.8.2008) will be coached by Peter Andrecs - he is not only one of the founders of Fair and Fun Hockey, but was also coaching some of the camps in every year.

Other coaching activities: Uni Wien, Tulln, Stockerau, Mödling, Vienna Flyers, selection teams in Lower Austria, Austrian Federation Hockey Camps, IIHF Camps, women´s hockey national team.


Günter Stockhammer (10K) In the camp 3 in St. Poelten, which is taking place from 19th to 21st of September 2008, Günter Stockhammer, born on August 8, 1962, is the boss on ice.

As player he became famous in Stadlau, Feldkirch, Graz and Salzburg. At the moment he is playing for the 48er in the Oberliga, but is also well-known as "Premiere expert" from tv.



Thomas Wehrhan (10K)
Head Coach in both Gmunden camps is Thomas Wehrhan - the former junior national team player, who also played for several clubs in the Austrian top leagues was born 1968 in Salzburg.

At the moment Wehrhan is coaching the teams in Krems as well as regional selection teams in Lower Austria (U17/U12).



Kaernae (4K)
Also the goalies should have the possibility to develop - Top coach Ahto Kärnä (picture / Finland) will teach them during Graz II and the camps in Lustenau. He was already responsible for the goalkeepers in the Finnish U20 and U18 national teams as well as for the Olympic team 1994. In St. Pölten II and Gmunden I Andreas Muschlin, who won 8 times gold in junior hockey in Austria, will take care of the goalies.
