Fair and Fun Hockey Camps

| | | Already traditional is the start into the Fair and Fun Hockey camp season in Graz. This time there will be two adult camps and one for kids and women in the beginning of August. The latter is also the biggest camp 2008 with approx. 90 participants.
And from 10th of August Lustenau will join in. For junior players this means the last chance for taking part in a camp this year as the junior camps in St. Pölten and Gmunden are already completely full. |
In a bit less than 5 weeks the first camps 2008 will start and the free places become less and less. In meantime the maximum numbers of participants for Graz II and St. Pölten II were increased by the management.
In the 8 camps in Graz, St. Pölten and Gmunden altogether just 36 free spots are left before being sold out completely - only in Lustenau there are some more free places - 7 in the women´s camp, 9 in the junior camp and 10 in the adult camp.
| | | Looking at the registrations so far a new record concerning the number of participants can be expected in 2008. Around 400 participants would mean the biggest number so far in FFH history.
|
Earlier than ever the youth camp in Gmunden is fully booked, registration for this camp is not possible anymore.
And Fair and Fun becomes more and more international: in 2008, players from Finland, Czech Republic, Germany, Switzerland, Croatia, the Netherlands and other countries join the camps.
| | | Now the head coaches and most of the goalie coaches for the Fair and Fun Hockey camps are fixed - so the participants can already look forward to high-quality camps in summer:
Former assistant coach of the U.S. national team and Olympic gold medalist Alana Blahoski (photo) will be the boss in the camp Graz II, with Pentti Hiiros the camps in Lustenau will have a top head coach. And Ahto Kärnä will take care of the goalies in Graz (II) and Lustenau => more information |
Now the Camps for 2008 are fixed. And as in the previous year they will take part in Graz, Lustenau, St. Pölten and Gmunden. In Graz there will be an additional adult camp, as there were so many participants in 2007. Please note the new definition of the FFH target groups.
And also the website has changed: you can use the English version and there are more possibilities to find the camp of your choice => Camp Locations
| | | To make something really good you also need time. Originally the participants of the camps 2007 should have got the DVDs until Christmas, but after having some technical problems for making them there is a bit more time needed.
But of course, dear participants, you will get the promised dvds until beginning of February. |
The Camps 2007 are finished... there are nice memories and the chance to look forward to Fair and Fun 2008. At the moment the Fair and Fun management is already preparing the camps for summer 2008.
Especially after checking the feedback of the participants there are some ideas to improve and make the camps better and better. And these weeks the details for the 2008 are worked out.
